When Ellie uploaded a poster she’d stuck to her front door with an offer to make other designs should people want them, she had no idea what she’d got herself into! Who knew such a simple poster, with no graphic design skills (thanks Canva!) would end up all over the UK, from Suffolk to Wales, London to Leamington Spa?!

Ten amazing, busy, slightly stressful days later, we finally have a change to breathe and say “thank you”.

Thanks to your efforts in sharing something you found useful, we’ve had more than 4.5 million views of our Facebook post, and we estimate the posters are up on something like 50,000 doors, windows, gates and fences.

Demand to download the posters crashed our site for several days after we overloaded the server, and we had to find other ways to give access to the almost 200 designs we created, so thank you to everyone who persisted in getting hold of them, and even greater thanks to those who donated to our work in response. We really appreciate the thousands of positive comments, your love and support is so appreciated.

As a brand new charity, coverage like this is priceless, and we hope people have been inspired to follow our work beyond the isolation posters – we have big plans! The whole experience has also taught us loads, including the need for a server with greater capacity!

A special thank you to Winster Creations who went from getting a message out of the blue on Instagram, to printing our designs in just a couple of hours, and who handled almost 400 orders to print and mail posters in just a few days. Thanks also to Nikki, who helped with press interviews, and who kept us buoyed when we were feeling somewhat overwhelmed! A final thanks to everyone who alerted us to people who had taken our posters and were passing them off as their own initiative, we appreciate the support.
