Mila is a lifelong member of the charity sector, having worked in international development and youth charities. She’s now a consultant at NCVO, supporting organisations in their evaluation needs.
What makes you happy? Nice coffee, baking, and long walks.
Why did you get involved with Chronically Awesome? I was inspired by the organisation’s mission and dedication to a unique new support.
What’s a perfect Saturday for you? Late brunch with a book, a long walk in a park, and en evening of home cooked dinner with friends.
Cat or dog? Both, but I’ve always wanted to have a cat.
Ducks or chickens? Ducks! They’re adorable as babies.
Chinese or Indian? This is impossible!
Sunrise or sunset? Sunset – I wish I was an early riser enough to see more sunrises.
Listen to music or read a book? Book, I love to lose myself in a good story.
Favourite season? Autumn, especially in Canada. The leaves turn such a gorgeous colour.
Favourite time of day? The rare occasions when I get to enjoy my first cup of coffee of the day.
Best holiday? I loved a trip to Greece with two of my closest friends a few years ago.
Introvert or extrovert? Definitely an extrovert.
Worst habit? I start about 5 books at a time and it takes me forever to finish them all.
Best quality? My ability to find solutions to hard problems.
Your inspiration? People who are creative and resilient, coming up with new ways to change the world for the better.
