Welcome to the second video of my series of six for Chronically Awesome, still looking at improving balance but one of the biggest and most important factors for me as a yoga teacher and movement therapist is people’s lack of ability to have any control of their breathing. This is really important as far as the general mobility of the rib cage and spine, and again going back to the last video, how we end up stacking ourselves in all three planes, whether that’s that rotation that we started with or whether it’s the shifting or whether it’s from the side view. That’s going to be explored much more in the next video but for this video we’re essentially almost going to have a bit of a breathing practice and meditation because they really do tie in together.
